Club Captain - Pauline Allday

Hi, my name is Pauline Allday and I am the club captain for 2017. I have been a member at Ingleby Barwick for nine years and thoroughly enjoyed playing golf and I’m looking forward to a successful year.

This club is friendly and welcoming and needs your support. There are a variety of
throughout the year so please join in where you can.

The lady captain Lesley Stokes and I have chosen the Alzheimer’s society as our charity this
year and hope to make lots of money for them. Please watch out for the charity events and give
them your support.I hope you all have a happy and successful year in 2017 and enjoy your golf.

Handicap & Competitions Secretary - Jason Foreman

Duties of the Competitions and Handicap Secretary

  • Issues of initial Handicaps
  • Maintains Academy Handicap records according to the C.O.N.G.U unified Handicapping system using the Handicap Master software.
  • Preparation of entry sheets, making the draws and producing scorecards for Academy Competitions. Process scorecards and produce Competition results using the Handicapping software.


Treasurer - Brian Rainford

Duties of the Treasurer

  • The Honorary Treasurer is the primary point of contact with the Bank.
  • They receive all monies due to the Club Membership and arrange to settle any properly incurred and approved expenses by the Members or duly appointed representatives of the various sub- committees or Club sections.
  • They are personally accountable for any monies held as petty cash to meet the day to day expenses and ensuring prompt deposit of any surplus monies to the Bank account.
  • The Treasurer will prepare a monthly balance sheet in the required format which clearly shows income and expenses of each section together with any liabilities, current and future.
  • Maintain an account of any charity monies.
  • Complete and ensure settlement of annual subscription levies due to EGU, YGU, EWGA, YLGC.
  • Carry out monthly reconciliations of the Bank statements and report on any discrepancies.
